Elijah Wachira Appointed As CIC Group Acting CEO
Elijah Wachira, the CIC General Insurance Limited Managing Director has been appointed the Group Chief Executive Officer following the exit of Mr Tom Gitogo.
Mr Gitogo has been at the helm of the company since 2014, but opted for early retirement this month.
Mr Gitogo who has steered the company to stability opted for early retirement, effective October 9, 2019, before the expiry of his contract on February 28, 2020.

The CIC group’s half year net profits dipped by 96 percent to KSh20.9 million for the period ended June 30, 2019.
The firms profit after tax for the six months declined from KSh537 million in 2018 to KSh20.9 million in 2019.
