A Tuskys employee has reportedly stolen Ksh320,000 from a cashier at knife-point at Kenyatta Avenue branch.
The incident happenned at around 7pm on Saturday when they were preparing to close shop.
According to the police who are pursuing the employee, the incident was not captured by surveilance cameras since the CCTV server at the supermarket had been destroyed.
Staffers who were on duty have already been questioned by the police.
No arrests have been made so far according to Nairobi police boss Augustine Nthumbi.
The supermarket has been in wrangles with workers over non-payment of salaries after crumbling.
In the last one year, the retailer has seen the number of its brances drop from 64 to five.
