Kenyan investment consultant Steven Nyandiare has landed an advisory role with United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) ruling family.

Nyandiare who has previously worked as strategic liaison personnel on international trades with Africa and around the world has been appointed as a Senior Advisor to Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisai Al-Qassimi, a member of the ruling family of the UAE.

Nyandiare will be the first Kenyan to work in such a senior position for the UAE ruling family, which he terms as an opportunity for the African to showcase their expertise to the world.

“This is a time for African youth to be part of decision-making on Africa’s business and geo-politics. There is an opportunity for Africa and the African youths,” he told a local online publication.

Sheikh Ahmed is the Co-Founder of Al Qassimi Group of Company and Investments Co. Sheikh Ahmed received his first international award when he was selected as “Young Global Leader 2008” by the World Economic.

In April 2010, Sheikh Ahmed was awarded as the prestigious young CEO of the year by Former French Prime Minister Dominique De Villepin. Sheikh Ahmed is a big fan of sport, especially football.
