Former National Land Commission (NLC) head of investigations Antipas Nyanjwa has collapsed and died.
Nyanjwa had just been transferred to Homabay as county coordinator a week ago.
Nyanjwa previously worked as the deputy head of forensic document investigations at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
He was later transferred to the CID training school, Nairobi, as an instructor.
In 2014, he was transferred to NLC as deputy head of investigations.
The cause of death is yet to be established.
This comes a month after Nyanjwa’s colleague, Ms Jennifer Wambua, went missing and found murdered.
Ms Wambua went missing three days before a cross-examined in court concerning a Ksh122 million graft case.
Ms Wambua, whose body was found in Ngong, is said to have been a witness in the case involving more than 20 individuals, among them Lugari MP Ayub Savula and former Principal Secretary Sammy Itemere.
The case also ropes in former Director of Government Advertising Agency (GAA) Dennis Chebitwey and five companies whom the State believes siphoned Ksh122 million through briefcase entities instead of paying media companies for services rendered.
Ms Wambua, who served as the deputy director of communications at NLC was strangled to death, according to the police.
