The SBM Bank (formerly Fidelity Bank) has announced closure of five branches in a restructuring move.

In a statement dated November 12, the lender says the move has been occasioned by hard economic times caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Among the branches that will be closed include Ngara, Dagoretti Express, Lunga Lunga Branch, Jomvu Express, and Mombasa Moi Avenue Branch.

Ngara, Dagoretti Express, Lunga Lunga, and Jomvu Express branches will close effective December 12, 2020, while Mombasa Moi Avenue will close on December 30 2020.

“This closure does not affect availability of our services on the alternate channels; Mobile banking, Internet banking, Agency Banking and Card business. We thank you for your continued patronage and we sincerely regret any inconveniences caused,” the bank said.
