748 Air Services Exits Kenyan Market
Kenya aviation company 748 Air Services has suspended all scheduled flights in the country, consequently exiting the Kenyan market.
The suspension takes effect on March 1, 2023, according to a statement from the carrier.
“To All our Esteemed Customers and partners, we at 748 Air Services Limited would like to extend our gratitude for your continued partnership and cooperation through the years,” the statement read in Part
748 Air Services Limited started its Domestic commercial scheduled operations on May 20, 2021. The carrier says it will now focus on humanitarian aviation.
“After an extensive review of our business strategy, we have opted to focus on our core business, humanitarian aviation, currently operating in 7 African Countries. We, therefore, regret to inform you that we have resolved to suspend all our Domestic Scheduled commercial flights effective 1st March 2023,” added the statement.
The carrier said its airline reservation systems (ARS) will remain open up to June 30, 2023, to allow the processing of refunds for all the advanced tickets paid.
“Our Mission is to connect humanity with every flight by working with our partners in support of peace and eradication of hunger in Africa,” added the statement.
