NCBA Opens New Branch In Kerugoya Town
NCBA has opened a new branch in Kerugoya town, Kirinyaga County. The branch located at the Oasis Building in Kerugoya town will provide residents with the opportunity to access personalised banking services near them.
Governor Anne Waiguru inaugurated the new branch in an event attended by NCBA’s Group Chairman Mr. James Ndegwa, NCBA’s top leadership and area leaders.
Speaking during the branch opening, NCBA Group Chairman Mr. James Ndegwa expressed optimism that the new branch will greatly facilitate the Bank’s customers.
“The Kerugoya branch is the 5th branch that NCBA has opened this year as we implement our strategic retail expansion drive, and I am happy to report that, the opening of this branch brings the total number of branches in the country to 97 and present in 29 counties. This is a new beginning not only for NCBA but also for the People of Kirinyaga County. With a population of 39,441 people, agriculture is then the backbone of this region and 87% of the population engaging in it and contributing 72% to the household incomes; As NCBA, we remain committed to ensuring that this region continues with its growth and development.”
In a bid to address customers’ needs, the Kerugoya Branch will focus on providing customers with a broad range of financial products and solutions, including savings and current accounts, loans, investment solutions for wholesalers, and asset finance solutions for retailers. Mobile and internet banking services will also enable customers to access their accounts from anywhere at any time.
