Safaricom Appoints Anthony Gacanja as Network Director

Safaricom has announced the appointment of Anthony Gacanja as Director Network, effective June 19, 2023.

Reporting to the Chief Technology & Information Officer, Anthony will be responsible for the design, build, rollout, performance, and enhancement of all network infrastructure.

His primary focus will be delivering a superior quality of service to Safaricom customers. He will also be responsible for managing the delivery of existing Information System Services and the implementation of new systems.

“Anthony brings onboard over twenty years’ experience in Information Technology Governance and Operations, Cyber Security, Information Risk Assurance and Software Development,” Safaricom said.
