Hudson Andambi Named KPC’s MD After The Arrest Of Joe Sang
Hudson Andambi will be the acting managing director for Kenya Pipeline Company, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mining has said.
This follows the arrest of Joe Sang and four other officials on Friday morning.
Principal Secretary in the State Department for Petroleum, Andrew Kamau, said the appointment was made following consultations with the company’s board Chairperson, John Ngumi.
Sang was arrested this morning alongside the General Manager, Supply Chain Vincent Cheruiyot, Gloria Khafafa and general manager in charge of infrastructure Billy Aseka.

Ms Khafafa is said to have been hired fraudulently, without papers.
Sang has been at the centre of graft allegations in which the company lost over 23 million litres of fuel.
The scandal riddled firm’s troubles started during the 2013/14 financial year when KPC tendered to deliver 60 hydrant pit valves for Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at a cost of Ksh647 million.
