Biggest Casino in East Africa Postpones Ksh5 Million Draw Over Coronavirus
Millionaires Casino Nairobi has postponed the biggest casino cash draw for Ksh5 million cash due to the Coronavirus (COVID-1) outbreak in Kenya.
This follows a directive from the Office of the President banning all gatherings for the next 30 days.
The draw, dubbed Car or Cash has now been pushed to a later date to be announced.
“Even though the casino is fully prepared for the event (decoration, catering and entertainment) and expecting a great number of visitors, the health of our customers and employees is our number one priority. We have organized consultation with medical experts to determine the different types of action we need to engage in at different stages of development of the virus,” said the management in a statement.
The casino says that it is now educating the staff though the Work Place guidelines from the World Health
Organization (WHO) and posters.
