Credit Bank Partners With Kenctad For Youth And SME Empowerment
Credit Bank is set to support hundreds of youths in the Kenya Entrepreneurship Trade and Development Conference.
Through its E-hub Club, Credit bank is eyeing on reaching out to hundreds of SME’S through its capital support segment. The conference sponsored by Kenctad will emphasize the role of the private sector in the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems in sub-Saharan Africa.
Speaking to Business Times, the Head of Business and Marketing, Ms Pamela Mutembei, Credit Bank PLC, expressed the alignment of goals with Kenctad .
“I believe such a setup is quite effective and aligns with our mission at Credit Bank quite well; the mission being transforming the social-economic welfare of our people. This is why the Bank has partnered with Kenctad on this mission,” said Ms Mutembei.

According to FSD Kenya ,a vibrant and expanding small business sector can be a major catalyst of inclusive growth but small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have a difficult time accessing the financial services that can fuel that growth.
We Spoke to one of the E-hub club members Mr Mike Otieno,who is one of the top consultants in Nairobi-Kenya, on the impact of bank clubs who said that E-hub has been very instrumental in helping him understand his business challenges.
“I have enjoyed the trainings, the networks and linkages received,” he said.
Entrepreneurship hub by Credit Bank PLC is an entrepreneur network that was founded in 2016 with the mandate of addressing the challenges that SMEs face today. The E-hub’s mandate will be to stimulate SMEs growth through acceleration activities, strategic advice and access to capital.
