Professor George Magoha Passes On
Former Education CS Professor George Magoha has passed on aged 71.
Prof Magoha, according to preliminary reports, passed on on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the Nairobi Hospital after a cardiac arrest.
“Yes it is true. He is no more,” his wife Dr Barbra Magoha told the Nation.
He leaves behind his wife Dr Magoha and son Dr Michael Magoha.
The Nairobi hospital CEO James Nyamongo in a statement confirmed his death.
“It is with great regret that we announce the sudden and untimely demise of Professor George Magoha this evening at The Nairobi Hospital,” The Nairobi Hospital CEO James Nyamongo said in a statement.
“Magoha collapsed at home and was rushed to the Nairobi Hospital A and E. Efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.”
His death comes a few days after he lost his brother Prof Richard Alex Nyabera Magoha.
The brother’s burial was set for this Saturday.
